WeMile K12 is a community platform that makes school and sports carpooling easier. It helps parents find trusted partners at schools or sports venues, create private carpool groups, set a shared drive schedule, and stay coordinated with reminders and trip counts.

Almost everything in WeMile K12 is free—including creating carpools, schedules, reminders, trips, chat, and accepting connection requests. A $2.99/year support contribution helps sustain operations and is required only when you initiate a connection with other parents at your school or sports venue.

WeMile K12 helps you:

After setup, WeMile K12 sends schedule-based reminders, records assumed drives, and lets members correct recent trips in the Trips tab.

Yes. On the homepage, choose the Sports tab, search for your practice or game venue, register there, then use the WeMile app to connect with other families at that venue—the same trusted Find flow as schools.

No. If you already have a trusted group, create a carpool, invite members, and use WeMile K12 to manage the schedule, reminders, and participation counts.

Most carpools can be configured in a few minutes:

• Create a carpool and give it a name.
• Invite members to join.
• Select the days and windows each person plans to drive.

Families can update schedules anytime; members can be notified of plan changes.

Usually no. Based on your shared schedule, WeMile K12 assumes drives after each window and lists them in Trips. If a record is wrong, members can change the driver or riders, or remove it, within the allowed correction window.

No. The current WeMile K12 app does not use continuous GPS, geofencing, or motion sensors to detect trips or send arrival/departure alerts. Drive records come from your shared schedule—not live location tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The home page shows participation at a glance, including:

• Last drive date for each member
• Number of times each member has driven
• Number of times each member has ridden

Notifications may include:

• Connection requests and related Find updates
• Reminders before a scheduled drive window
• Drive-completion notices so you can correct a record
• Carpool plan / schedule change alerts

WeMile K12 does not send live geofence arrival or departure alerts in the current app.

Yes. WeMile K12 can send reminders before scheduled carpool windows based on the days and times your group configured.

Yes. Drive schedules and related preferences can be updated anytime. Members can be notified when the carpool plan changes.

WeMile K12 helps families discover parents from the same school or sports venue. Parents can connect through private messaging and decide whether a carpool is a good fit before joining a group.

For participating schools, verification codes help ensure only approved families from the school community can join. Parents remain in control of what they share and who they carpool with.

Before joining a carpool, other members typically see only your screen name and limited profile information. Use private messaging to get to know one another. Consider meeting at school or asking another parent for an introduction.

WeMile K12 does not share your phone number, home address, or other private information automatically. Parents choose when to share personal details.
