No. If you already have a trusted group, skip discovery and messaging—create a carpool, invite members, and use WeMile to manage it. WeMile tracks trips, participation, reminders, and notifications automatically.

Most carpools can be configured in less than 2 minutes:

• Create a carpool and give it a name.
• Invite members to join.
• Enter pickup and destination addresses.
• Select the days you are available to drive.

Invited members enter their pickup address and preferred driving days. Families can update schedules anytime; WeMile adjusts tracking and notifications accordingly.

No. WeMile automatically detects and tracks carpool trips in the background when Always Allow Location and activity permissions are enabled. If a trip is missed or incorrect, users can add or correct it.

No. WeMile does not record or track your personal trips throughout the day. It only processes trips during the carpool windows and driving days you configured. Outside those periods, WeMile does not record trips or generate carpool metrics.

The home page shows participation at a glance, including:

• Last drive date for each member
• Number of times each member has driven
• Number of times each member has ridden

Notifications may include:

• Driver reminder before a scheduled carpool
• Driver approaching pickup
• Driver arriving at pickup
• Carpool arriving at school or destination
• Carpool leaving school
• Carpool arriving home or destination

Yes. WeMile automatically sends reminders before scheduled carpools.

Yes. Schedules, pickup locations, and driving preferences can be updated anytime. Members are notified of changes.

WeMile helps families discover nearby parents from the same school. Parents can connect through private messaging and decide whether a carpool is a good fit before joining a group.

For participating schools, verification codes help ensure only approved families from the school community can join. Parents remain in control of what they share and who they carpool with.

Before joining a carpool, other members typically see only your screen name and limited profile information. Use private messaging to get to know one another. Consider meeting at school or asking another parent for an introduction.

WeMile does not share your phone number, home address, or other private information automatically. Parents choose when to share personal details.
